Five decades ago Freemarr Homes was a dream in a young manıs imagination. John (Tommy) Freeman grew up in the Turkey Creek area of eastern Hillsborough County. His grandfather, F. D. Freeman, was a prominent builder in the Plant City area and Tommy Freeman worked Saturdays and summers for his grandfather. His grandfather gave him more than just the knowledge of building practices; he gave him a solid value system based on honesty, character and a concern for delivering value and superb service to his customers.
In 1992 J. T. Freemanıs dream was realized with the creation of Freemarr Homes, Inc. Mr. Freeman asked his long time friend, Michael Marra, a local framing contractor, to form a partnership creating the new company. As is true with new start ups the path was difficult, but growth was steady and the two partners never lost sight of giving their customers service and value.
As the company continued to grow the two partners who were ³sticks and bricks² guys realized that future growth depended on adding a partner with a mortgage and financing back ground. In 1996 Robert Riggins, a mortgage broker with over 25 years experience joined the ownership group.
Freemarr Homes has been a local builder with an impeccable reputation for delivering value to their customers and as new communities are added to their portfolio they would like to deliver homes to overjoyed customers for years to come, hopefully building a home for you. |
